Mannion 6th and 7th students,
WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Leaders are needed to welcome next year’s 6th graders and help them begin a comfortable year at Mannion Middle School. All current 6th and 7th graders at Mannion are eligible to apply to become WEB Leaders.
WEB Leaders have been successful at Mannion Middle School and are positive role models for younger students. WEB Leaders are trained to be the guides for 6th Grade Orientation Day, and they lead a small group of incoming 6th graders in a variety of games and activities that will help prepare them for middle school.
This is an exciting opportunity to build leadership skills, contribute to a positive school environment, and help others. We are looking for students who are interested in leading others, being a positive role model, and willing to assist with diverse students. This is a leadership opportunity to make a difference for our school and the incoming 6th graders.
Ms. Rivera will host an optional informational meeting after school on Monday, March 31, from 2:20 pm – 2:45 pm, in room 730. You don’t have to attend this meeting to become a WEB Leader, but this is an opportunity to learn more about WEB before you apply.
If you are interested, please note the following required dates of participation:
- WEB Leader Training Day: Thursday, July 31, 2025, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (Lunch Provided)
