Greetings!
As we prepare for the end of the school year, we want to remind parents and students of the dates and procedures for ChromeBook collection.
6th Grade ChromeBook collection will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026.
7th Grade ChromeBook collection will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026
Chromebooks will be collected alphabetically over the course of the entire day. Students are asked to keep their ChromeBooks with them until their teacher sends them to the library to return the ChromeBook.
Prior to returning their ChromeBook, students will be responsible to prepare their Chromebooks for collection. All stickers, sticky residue and usb mouse receivers need to be removed from the Chromebook. Students will clean the Chromebooks with provided wipes and wrap their cords with the barcodes before they go down to the library to return their items (Parents – if you want to inspect and clean your child’s ChromeBook this weekend – great!). Remember – 6th and 7th grade students will return their cases and get the same case back in August.
Chromebooks will be inspected and fines will be assessed for damaged Chromebooks. Each student will be given a receipt showing they turned in their materials. Please remind your student to bring this home for your records.
Finally, all 6th and 7th grade students registered for NVLA will be permitted to keep their ChromeBook for summer learning. NVLA summer school students are asked to return their ChromeBook on July 28th.
