Due to the upcoming playoff games for the Mannion Flag Football teams, the dates of basketball tryouts have been adjusted. Tryouts may extend into the next week. Tryouts will take place in the gym at Mannion Middle School at the times shown on the 2022 Basketball Tryout & Intramural Schedule.
All students who participate in tryouts must be completed in Aktivate/Register My Athlete (RMA).
Basketball tryouts for all girls will begin on Thursday, November 17, 2022. The Mannion gym will be available for girls to participate in intramurals/open gym on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Basketball tryouts for boys will begin on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Please see the 2022 Basketball Tryout & Intramural Schedule for the tryout dates for boys in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
All student athletes are reminded that grades, citizenship, school behavior, sportsmanship, attitude, and skills are variables that will be reviewed by coaches and administration prior to the selection of the teams. Additionally, Nevada and CCSD guidelines for athletic eligibility apply to all of Mannion’s teams.
