To our Mannion 8th Grade Families!
We are excited to announce this year that Mannion is planning a one-day trip to Disneyland, Anaheim, for all qualified 8th grade students. This trip is in addition to the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony and 8th grade dance.
Trip Date: Monday, May 13, 2024 (Approved school absence)
Since students will be returning home late Monday night, we will also mark Tuesday, May 14th, as an approved school absence.
Total Cost/per student: $275
Payment Due Dates:
- October 20, 2023 (on or before) – $50 deposit
- January 5, 2024 (on or before) – $100 payment
- February 23, 2024 (on or before) – $125 final payment
March 1, 2024 is the last day available for a full refund. In case of cancellation after March 1, 2024, there will be no monetary refund available. However, any student who has paid for the trip, but for whatever reason does not end up going, they will be given their Mannion ticket to Disneyland to be used towards the purchase of a ticket for a later date (valid for up to one year from date of purchase).
8th grade students must meet the following requirements in order to attend:
Academic requirements
- Passing grades (A-D) in all classes on all quarter and semester report cards
- Satisfactory citizenship (O-N) in all classes on all quarter and semester report cards
Attendance requirements
- 12 or less total absences from the start of school to the end of quarter 3 (March 8, 2024)

The school banker is currently accepting deposits at school and online, at our Webstore, under Students > 8th Grade Activities (there is a $3 processing fee for online payments).
Mannion will hold a parent meeting early next year, closer to the date of the trip, for details and timelines.
We look forward to this special event and hope your student can join us.
Go Mustangs!
