This information is being sent to everyone who has started a registration for volleyball in Aktivate.
The dates and times for tryouts have been set, and have been added to the schedule that is posted on the Mannion website. Please note that these dates and times were scheduled around the Mannion gym schedule for our successful basketball season and CCSD’s allowed dates for volleyball tryouts.
If you have not completed the Aktivate registration, please do so by February 18, 2025, so I can clear everyone’s eligibility before tryouts. We are anticipating a very high number of students who will be trying out for volleyball, and students with incomplete registrations will not be allowed to try out. Questions regarding Aktivate registration can be directed to me.
We recognize that many of our students have commitments to other teams and activities outside of school. With a large number of students trying out for our volleyball teams, we ask that everyone who tries out will be able to make a commitment to be at every game and practice during the season if selected for the Mannion team. Please see the game schedule for the game dates and times. On non-game days, practices will typically be scheduled for 2:30-4:00 for the girls, and 4:00-5:30 for the boys.
Coach Pulu (girls), Coach Preszler (boys), and I are looking forward to an exciting week of tryouts, and an even more exciting inaugural season of Mannion volleyball. Go Mustangs!
