Greetings!
As we prepare for the end of the school year, we want to remind parents and students of the dates and procedures for ChromeBook collection.
8th Grade ChromeBook collection will take place on Wednesday, May 20. 8th grade students will return their Chromebooks and chargers during their science class. The Chromebook Return Schedule by teacher is available here.
Prior to returning their ChromeBook, students will be responsible to prepare their Chromebooks for collection. All stickers, sticky residue and usb mouse receivers need to be removed from the Chromebook. Students will clean the Chromebooks with provided wipes and wrap their cords with the barcodes before they go down to the library to return their items. If you want to inspect your student’s ChromeBook and assist with cleaning the ChromeBook – we would appreciate it!.
Chromebooks will be inspected and fines will be assessed for damaged Chromebooks. Each student will be given a receipt showing they turned in their materials. Please remind your student to bring this home for your records.
As an added bonus, all 8th grade students may keep their cases and are welcome to use them next year as high schools do not distribute cases. If a student does not want the case, we ask that they dispose of it appropriately.
Finally, all 8th grade students registered for NVLA will be permitted to keep their ChromeBook for summer learning. NVLA summer school students are asked to return their ChromeBook on July 28th.
