Greetings,
We are excited for our first home basketball game tomorrow (12/10). Both the boys and girls teams have had a great start to the season winning their first three away games. I wanted to share some timely information so everyone knows what to expect at the home games.
First of all, spectator entry to a basketball game requires the purchase of a ticket, as set by CCSD Regulation 5135.4. The price for an adult admission is $3.00, and the price of a student admission is $1.00. Tickets are sold at the door, and must be paid with cash only. Mannion is not able to accept a bill larger than $20, so please plan ahead and bring an appropriate amount of cash to cover the ticket cost for any games you will attend. The ticket prices will be the same at all away games.
The first game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm and the second game is scheduled for 5:15 pm. Students who plan to attend the basketball game as spectators must leave campus at the conclusion of the school day and then may return with an adult for the game.
To ensure that our home games are safe and enjoyable events for all spectators, please review Mannion’s Spectator Guidelines & Expectations:
- Middle school students are required to have an adult with them to enter the game. This adult is responsible for appropriate student behavior.
- Food & drinks are not permitted inside the gym. Players are permitted to have water.
- There are no in and out privileges. Spectators will not be permitted to leave and return.
- Please be respectful and appreciative of the referees. Without them, this game would be a scrimmage.
Please let me know if you have any questions and we look forward to a great season from our basketball players, cheerleaders, dance team, and pep band. Go Mustangs!
