To our Mannion 8th grade Families!
We are excited to announce this year that Mannion is once again planning a one-day trip to Disneyland, Anaheim, for all qualified 8th grade students. This trip is in addition to the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony and 8th grade dance.
Trip Date: Monday, May 11, 2026 (Approved school absence)
Since students will be returning home late Monday night, we will also mark Tuesday, May 12th, as an approved school absence.
Total Cost/per student: $275
Payment Due Dates:

- November 3, 2025 (on or before) – $100 deposit
- This 1st deposit must be made in person at the main office with the banker.
- Cash (No fee), check (No fee), card (3% fee), and apple pay (3% fee) are accepted.
- Once the first in person payment is made all other payments may be made via the online webstore.

- January 9, 2026 (on or before) – $100 payment
- February 23, 2026 (on or before) – $75 final payment
- November 3, 2025 (on or before) – $100 deposit
*March 1, 2026 – Last day available for full refund*
*In case of cancellation after March 1, 2026, there will be no monetary refund available. However, any student who has paid for the trip, but for whatever reason does not end up going, will be given their ticket to Disneyland to be used for a later date (valid for up to one year from date of purchase).
8th grade students must meet the following requirements in order to attend:
Academic requirements
- Passing grades (A-D) in all classes on all quarter and semester report cards
- Satisfactory citizenship (O-N) in all classes on all quarter and semester report cards
Attendance requirements
- 12 or less total absences from the start of school to the end of quarter 3 (March 13, 2026)
- No Denial of Credit in Semester 1
- 6 or less total tardy marks from the start of school to the end of quarter 3
Behavior requirements
- No out-of-school suspensions from the start of school to the end of quarter 3
- 2 or less In-House suspension days from the start of school to the end of quarter 3
- 6 or less total Minor Behavior Incidents (MBI) from the start of school to the end of quarter 3
The school banker is currently accepting deposits for the trip. Please remember that the first payment must be made in person, but any payment after that can be via the webstore.
Mannion will hold a parent meeting early next year, closer to the date of the trip, for details and timelines.
