WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Leaders are needed to welcome next year’s 6th graders and help them begin a comfortable year at Mannion Middle School. All current 6th and 7th graders at Mannion are invited to apply to become WEB Leaders.
WEB Leaders are good role models for younger students and have been successful at Mannion Middle School. WEB Leaders are trained to be the guides for 6th Grade Orientation Day, and they get to lead a small group of incoming 6th graders in a variety of games and activities that will help prepare them for middle school.
This is an exciting opportunity to build leadership skills, contribute to a positive school environment, and help others. We are looking for students who are interested in leading others, being a positive role model, and willing to assist with diverse students. This is a leadership opportunity to make a difference for our school and the incoming 6th graders.
Ms. Rivera will host an optional informational meeting after school on Monday, April 17, from 2:20 pm – 2:45 pm, in room 730. You don’t have to attend this meeting to become a WEB Leader, but this is an opportunity to learn more about WEB before you apply.
