Greetings,
As you probably know, CCSD will open 20-21 with distance learning. I realize, due to the last three months of 19-20, there is apprehension in our community with distance learning. The restrictions placed on schools in the spring are being removed, and I am confident in our teachers and their ability to provide a positive learning experience from afar.
I know many parents are struggling to figure out childcare, supervision, and logistics for the next few months. While I am not able to assist with these challenges, I want you to know that I understand your concern and frustrations. I realize that some middle school and high school students will not only be responsible for their own learning, but may have to assist with the learning process of their younger siblings. Our #OneHill community is working together, to the best of our ability, to ensure a positive experience for all families. Thank you for giving us this chance.
Distance Learning will require all Mannion students to have reliable internet access and consistent/unlimited use of a computer. We are committed to ensuring all students have access to these items since they are critical for student success.
To help us meet this goal, please complete this survey as soon as possible. Our goal is 100% participation in the survey so we can ensure that we have adequate resources for all Mannion students. The survey can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/HSfwW73SYvz6fCdg8
Households with multiple Mannion students should answer the survey for one student and list the siblings in the box provided.
You will receive a confirmation of your survey submission at the email you will provide. You will also receive, at the provided email, communication regarding the process to pick-up the requested school computer (likely the week of August 10-August 21).
I know many questions remain, and I appreciate your patience as we develop the answers. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Go Mustangs!
