Greetings,
I want to thank everyone for a wonderful first full week of hybrid instruction. It was wonderful seeing some of our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students back on campus. I am grateful for how quickly all of our students, including those on cohort C, have made the adjustment from distance learning to hybrid instruction. This makes me proud to be a part of this community.
Ms. Hargraves has sent out numerous communications regarding the next two weeks of SBACs. Please review her emails and/or visit our website for the information. I appreciate everyone being flexible as we meet the SBAC expectations placed on our school community.
Speaking of the school community, please remember that the area surrounding Mannion is a school zone. As a result, please be cognizant of your speed. Also, U turns in a school zone are not permitted. Please make sure student safety is a priority and avoid such temptations (and costly tickets).
Finally, with the warm weather returning, please be sure to review the Mannion dress code for all students. Please make sure that hats and hoods are not worn on campus, and that shorts, skirts, and dresses are no more than 3 inches above the knee. Finally, in the event a student is wearing pants with holes, all holes that are three inches above the knee must have shorts or leggings underneath so no bare skin shows through. Finally, all tank top straps must be three inches or more in width.
Again, I am grateful for the wonderful week and I look forward to completing SBAC testing, MAPs testing, and finishing out the 20-21 school year.
Go Mustangs!
