Greetings,
It certainly feels like winter has finally arrived.
Over the past two days, I have noticed a number of students not dressing appropriately for this bitter cold weather. Before and after school, students are permitted to wear winter hats to stay warm, but these items must be removed as soon as the students enter the academic hallways.
Students are permitted to wear jackets to also stay warm, but students will NOT be permitted to utilize a blanket instead of a jacket. Blankets will be confiscated and returned to students at the end of the day. If a blanket is confiscated, a student will have the option of calling home to have an appropriate jacket delivered.
I appreciate everyone speaking to their student about appropriate clothing for these cold conditions and checking the weather report prior to students leaving for school. Together, we can keep all students warm and healthy during this cold spell.
Stay warm, Mustangs!
