Greetings,
Please see the information below regarding Mannion Soccer intramurals, tryouts, registration, and athletic eligibility.
Soccer
Soccer intramurals will be offered for boys and girls beginning the week of January 24, 2023, from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM. Intramurals in January are open for all students that would like to participate. Intramurals in February are only for students who have completed their Register My Athlete (RMA) registrations by February 3, 2023. Starting February 15, 2023, students without a completed RMA registration will not be able to participate in intramurals or tryouts.
Tryouts and intramurals will take place on the field at Mannion Middle School. The late bus will be available only for students who receive CCSD transportation.
All student athletes are reminded that grades, citizenship, school behavior, sportsmanship, attitude, and skills are variables that will be reviewed by coaches and administration prior to the selection of the teams.
Due to high interest in Mannion’s soccer programs, tryouts are organized by grade level and gender beginning the week of February 20, 2023. Please see the 2023 Soccer Tryout & Intramural Schedule for more information.
Registration for Student-Athletes
Students who plan to try out for soccer in the 2022-2023 school year must register online through registermyathlete.com (now known as Aktivate). Please see the RMA Student-Athlete Registration Instructions guide for more information. Detailed instructions for using RMA are provided at Parent/Guardian Step-by-Step Guide to Register My Athlete or Guía paso a paso para padres o tutores para registrar un atleta en Registrar A Mi Atleta.
Please note that Register My Athlete has transitioned to a system called Aktivate, but anything that has already been entered into Register My Athlete for the 22-23 school year has carried over to the Aktivate system. Parents who have previously submitted a registration for flag football and/or basketball will simply need to log back in and add soccer to the student’s registration.
Athletic Eligibility Information
Information regarding eligibility requirements is listed on the CCSD Middle School Athletic Eligibility document.
