Dear Mannion Middle School Students, Families, and Community,
I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Mannion Middle School. Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career, and I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Mannion community.
This year marks my 23rd year in the Clark County School District. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of learning from exceptional educators, working alongside dedicated staff, and building meaningful relationships with students and families. These experiences have shaped me as an educator and school leader.
I know I am joining a school community with a proud history and strong foundation. I am grateful for the leadership that has come before me, and I look forward to honoring that work while building on it and moving Mannion forward.
As I begin this journey, I believe relationships come first. My priority is to listen, learn, and get to know our students, families, and staff. I want to understand what makes Mannion special, celebrate what we do well, and work together to identify opportunities for growth.
I believe every student should feel that they belong, are cared for, and are capable of success. I also believe our staff should feel valued, supported, and proud of the work they do each day.
As your principal, I will strive to be present, approachable, and honest. You will see me in classrooms, around campus, at activities, and at school events. I welcome your ideas, questions, and partnership because the strongest schools are built when students, families, staff, and leaders work together.
I look forward to meeting our families at my first parent meeting on September 10 at 5:30 p.m. I hope you will join me as we get to know one another, discuss the year ahead, and begin building a partnership focused on student success.
I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead and proud to continue serving CCSD in this new role at Mannion Middle School. Thank you for welcoming me to the community. I look forward to learning, growing, and building something special together.
Go Mustangs!
Eliza Perez
