Per AB 394 and the reorganization of the Clark County School District, all schools are required to establish a School Organizational Team, commonly referred to as the SOT.
Mannion Middle School’s SOT is a cooperative effort of four teachers, two support staff members, and six parents. On September 6, parents have the opportunity to elect their representatives to the 2017-2018 School Organizational Team (SOT).
Voting will take place at Mannion Middle School in the Registration Office. Parents may vote on September 6th between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM and between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. For you convenience, and to increase parent participation, these evening voting hours are during the 2017 Mannion Open House.
Only parents or legal guardians of children enrolled at Mannion Middle School will be eligible to vote. Parents and guardians will be required to show a picture ID before voting. In addition, parents and guardians are permitted only one vote, regardless of the number of children that attend Mannion.
The nine parents running for the six spots on the SOT have answered two brief questions. Their names, as well as their responses to these questions, are attached to this e-mail.
