Please plan to join us on Thursday, September 10, for our Annual Open House. This will be a virtual event, and parents will have 15 minutes to hear a presentation by each of their student’s teachers. The schedule will be:
| 6:00 – 6:15 PM | Period 1 |
| 6:15 – 6:20 PM | Passing to Period 2 |
| 6:20 – 6:35 PM | Period 2 |
| 6:35 – 6:40 PM | Passing to Period 3 |
| 6:40 – 6:55 PM | Period 3 |
| 6:55 to 7:00 PM | Passing to Period 4 |
| 7:00 – 7:15 PM | Period 4 |
Teachers are asked to include a link to their Open House Google Meet on next week’s Weekly Instructional Learning Guide that will be emailed home this Friday. I am also asking teachers to send out reminders next week via email, Infinite Campus Messenger, and other forms of secure communication.
For security reasons, we will not publicly post the links to our website or teacher websites. In order for all parents to be able to participate, these Open House Meets do not have the same security protections that our daily classes have. Publicly posting the links to the Open House Meets jeopardizes the security of the event.
Please make sure by the Wednesday of next week you have four Open House links dragged to your desktop. If you are missing a link, contact the office staff at Mannion and we can assist. To know which link is for each class, rename each link appropriately. For example, “Todd Period 1” will help you remember which student and class period the link takes you to. This will decrease the chances of any stress at 5:55 PM next Thursday.
While I am sad that our admin team will not be able to meet and greet our guests in the Quad, we remain committed to assisting our families. Please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Hargraves, Ms. Miller, or myself with any questions or concerns.
