Parents,
This is a reminder that next week we will be starting the A day/B day schedule for SBAC testing. The 6th and 7th grade students will start their day with 4th period and end with 3rd period. Please refer to the Testing Schedule available by CLICKING HERE for more clarification.
8th grade students will start testing next week. Please remind your student to report to their testing room by 8:00 am on Monday morning. After they have finished 8th graders will report to their 1st period class.
8th graders are reminded that they are not allowed to bring cell phones, smart watches, or air pods into the testing room.
8th graders will need wired earbuds for the Wednesday testing, but I would suggest that they bring them everyday, so they get into the habit of bringing them. Please, also have your 8th grade student bring a book or magazine to read for after the test.
All 8th grade students have been asked to take their time on the test and do the best that they can. There will be a teacher monitoring the testing sessions to make sure that they take their time with the testing materials. This is important because SBAC scores can be one of the determining factors for their placement in high school.
