Greetings,
I want to thank everyone for your patience over these final few weeks of this school year. We have been waiting almost a month for Phase 2, and we finally received permission to implement our plan. Phase 2 will begin on June 8, 2020.
Phase 2 means we have permission to collect from students any textbooks, library books, band/choir/orchestra uniforms, cheer uniforms, and school instruments that were not approved by the band/orchestra director for summer use. At the same time, we have permission to return any items in student lockers (academic and PE) and distribute yearbooks (the Yearbooks will be here this week – yeah!).
This process must be structured to ensure social distancing as well as protect both the health and safety of our staff as well as our students and families. As a result, we have created a structured schedule that will allow this process to take place between June 8 and June 12, 2020.
Please take a few minutes to carefully review the schedule and remember:
All choir students will participate on Monday, June 8.
All band students will participate on Tuesday, June 9.
All orchestra students and 6th grade students not in band or choir will participate on Wednesday, June 10.
All 7th grade students not in band, choir, or orchestra will participate on Thursday, June 11.
All 8th grade students not in band, choir, or orchestra will participate on Friday, June 12.
To understand the universal expectations when dropping off and picking up items, as well as the requirements for collecting your purchased yearbook, please read the schedule and the guidelines. We have a tight schedule and have worked hard to be 100% prepared. We are asking the same from our students and families.

If you have any questions about the schedule or expectations, please do not hesitate to call us at 702-799-3020. While the school remains closed to the community, we are remotely answering the phones. You may also contact Ms. Hargraves or myself via email. We are happy to help and answer any questions to ensure things run smoothly the week of June 8, 2020.
For your convenience, this schedule and expectations are also posted on the school website.
Go Mustangs!
