Greetings,
We continue to receive concerns about people parking in handicap spaces who do not have handicap placards and/or require the use of a handicap space. Handicap spaces are designed to ensure safety and accessibility for individuals with disabilities by providing spaces, located near building entrances, to deploy wheelchairs, lifts, ramps and facilitate easy, safe, and independent vehicle entry and exit.
During drop off and pick-up, the handicap spaces are reserved for those who are picking up and dropping off students with physical disabilities. If you have a handicap placard for your vehicle, and you are not exiting the vehicle and not picking up a student with a physical disability, we kindly ask that you do the right thing and leave the handicap spaces for those with a physical disability who are exiting the vehicle and/or picking up a student with a physical disability.
We do have students with physical disabilities who are picked up in front of the school and unable to utilize the limited handicap spaces that are full.
Thank you for your courtesy to others.
Go Mustangs!
