Greetings,
Mannion Middle School is hosting the 8th Grade Movie Night on Friday, February 13, 202. This event is only for 8th grade students enrolled at Mannion Middle School.
Tickets are $20 and includes a 3 finger box combo from Canes as well as the movie Shrek (Rated PG). This is a fundraiser to support student incentive at Mannion. Students are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to watch the movie as the movie will be shown in the cafeteria. Additional drinks, popcorn, and candy will be sold as part of the event to raise money for the Be Kind Club (no outside food, please).
5:30 PM – 6 PM: Dinner (Canes)
6 PM – 7:45 PM: Shrek Movie
Tickets are on sale through Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Tickets will not be sold after this day as we have to order the food from Canes. Students or parents may purchase the ticket for $20 at the school bank with cash or a credit card. As a convenience, the Movie Night has been placed on all 8th grade student accounts through the webstore. If you have already created an account for your student, you are able to pay from the comfort of your home. If you need to create an account, please follow these simple instructionsto create an account and add your student to your account.
For logistics, students will enter and exit through the front of the school and we will have a list of all students who paid. Staff members have volunteered as chaperones to ensure that students make positive decisions throughout the event. Out of respect for the chaperones, please make sure you return at 7:45 PM to pick up your student.
We look forward to hosting our final movie nights for our 8th grade students on Friday, February 13. Remember – the deadline to purchase tickets is Tuesday, February 10th!
