Last month CCSD announced a universal change to school start times. For the 2026-2027 school year, Mannion Middle School will have a student start time at 7:30 AM and a student dismissal time at 1:41 PM.
The change in start times will result in a change to the school’s bell schedule. Mannion Middle School is providing students, parents, and staff members the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding three possible bell schedules for the 2026-2027 school year.
When reviewing the possible bell schedules, please pay careful attention to the lunch schedule as this is the most significant difference between the three options.
To assist, here is a 5 slide presentation with each possible bell schedule. Once you review the possible bell schedules, please share your feedback through the survey. This is not a vote, but rather an opportunity to share your thoughts for the 2026-2027 school year.
The survey will be open through February 27, 2026. An analysis of the results will be presented at the March 5, 2026 Parent Community Partnership Meeting at 5:30 PM and the bell schedule will be announced prior to Spring Break.
I am happy to answer any specific questions about the bell schedule options, but please utilize the survey to share your thoughts so we are able to keep all opinions in one play for easier analysis.
