Students can celebrate the start of the NFL season by wearing their favorite athletic jersey/shirt. Students may also wear a hat for an athletic team as well.
On September 20, students are encouraged to wear hats to honor Arias Franco and support the No Place for Hate School Initiative. Students that bring in a donation to their first period teacher will be able to wear their hats that day. Donations will be given to No Place for Hate. In first hour, teachers will share the ADL No Place for Hate initiative: ADL’s No Place for Hate initiative is a school climate improvement framework that provides PreK-12 schools with an organizing framework for combating bias, bullying and hatred, which leads to long-term solutions to foster and maintain a positive climate. No Place for Hate schools receive their designation in the following ways: Building inclusive and safe communities in which respect is the goal and where all students can thrive. Empowering students, faculty, administration and family members to take a stand against hate and bullying by incorporating new and existing programs under one powerful message. Sending a clear, unified message that all students have a place where they belong.
Students are encouraged to wear #OneHill clothing. This includes anything from one of our #OneHill schools - Mannion, Foothill, Smalley, Walker, Newton, or Galloway. Show support for our K-12 Community alignment!
